Ex South Wilts superstar makes history in the test arena

Former South Wilts cricketer Glenn Maxwell has become only the second Australian player to score a hundred in all 3 international formats. He now joins good friend Shane Watson as the only two Australian players to do so.

Maxi was picked to play in the 3rd test against India in Ranchi. Batting at number 6, he came to the crease with the score at 140/4 to join his inform captain Steve Smith.

In non typical Maxwell fashion we are used to seeing in the shorter formats, he showed his class and maturity in completing his first test century four year since his debut. starting slowly, he then progressed through the gears showing some of the all around the wicket shots he has at his disposal.

Everybody at the club would like to congratulation Glenn on this amazing achievement.
