Winter Community Coaching Programme 2011
South Wilts Cricket Club will be holding a three session course during November 2011. The course will be open to any boy/girl between the ages of 6 - 9 (Years 1– 4 at school).
The course itself will involve activities such as:
· Fielding, batting and bowling.
· Group coaching.
· Cricket games.
All of the above with the idea of introducing the children to cricket with a firm emphasis on keeping the game ‘fun’.
There will be a minimum of four ECB qualified coaches present at each session.
Sessions to be held at the Five Rivers Leisure Centre in Salisbury on:
* Saturday 12th November 4pm – 6pm
* Saturday 19th November 4pm – 6pm
* Saturday 26th November 4pm – 6pm
Cost for the programme is £30 per child.
During each session there will be a short drinks break and as such would ask that all children bring a drink along them. Whilst cricket whites are preferable, tracksuits or the like will suffice. Footwear should be of the trainer type with white soles.
All cricket equipment will be provided.
