WINTER UNDER 9 COACHING
South Wilts Cricket Club will be holding a two session course during March 2012. The course will be open to any boy/girl between the ages of 7 - 9 (Years 3– 4 at school).
The course itself will involve activities such as:
· Fielding, batting and bowling.
· Group coaching.
· Cricket games.
All of the above with the idea of introducing the children to cricket with a firm emphasis on keeping the game ‘fun’.
There will be a minimum of four ECB qualified coaches present at each session.
Sessions to be held at the Five Rivers Leisure Centre in Salisbury on:
* Saturday 3rd March 2pm – 4pm
* Saturday 10th March 2pm – 4pm
Cost for the programme is £20 per child.
During each session there will be a short drinks break and as such would ask that all children bring a drink along them. Appropriate sporting clothing should be worn. Footwear should be of the trainer type with white soles.
All cricket equipment will be provided.
