In an attempt to increase cricket participation within Schools and provide an opportunity of club cricket, South Wilts through its Schools Liaison Officer Shaun White, have developed in recent times official links with two primary schools (St.Marks & Harnham Junior Schools).
The club now furthers its links via the ECB's Chance to Shine initiative working in partnership with the Salisbury & District development group. During the spring and summer months several of the Clubs Coaches will deliver a lengthy programme in each school very much with a view to teaching the games basic skills and raising participation levels within the Clubs junior section.
