VP50 was launched as an extension to our existing Vice Presidents group. The purpose is to establish a membership of enthusiastic individuals who would like to retain their association with the club, and occasionally meet up with ex-team mates and friends for a chat and a beer during the summer.

A dedicated VP50 committee has been formed and has already planned the following inclusive social events for 2010, to which all members are invited:

A summer lunch to watch South Wilts First X1 V Havant – Saturday 22^nd May.

BBQ evening to watch the Southern Premier league T20  Date TBA.

A limited over VP XI v Presidents XI Cricket match with teas  Date TBA.

Additional outings are also in the pipeline (although there will be an additional cost for these events).

June 6^th  - Marquee lunch – Wilts v Shropshire Day 1

July 30^th  - Lords – Middx v Surrey  Day 2

Aug 5th - Mays Bounty - Hampshire v Durham Day 3

Aug 9^th - Taunton – Somerset v Hampshire  Day 1

Annual membership of VP50 is just £50 per annum. This entitles you to a free lunch in May, a free BBQ  date TBA, and eligibility for VP XI selection plus teas at the President’s match in August!!  In return we ask you to make a minimum of 3 year commitment to our VP50 club.  .

Payment can be either by cheque (£150) or preferably the enclosed Standing Order mandate (£50 per annum). This can be filled in with your bank details and send directly to your Bank.

We would very much encourage you to join us as a VP50 Member. This is an exciting time for the club with such a promising young set of players and the imminent development of a new pavilion. This is your opportunity to become a part of it!
